About Sandra Hogue R海角社区 (Fellow)
Sandra is a qualified planner with over 35 years’ experience in the private and public sectors.
She has significant strategic, policy and statutory experience; along with economic, environmental and resource management, negotiation, stakeholder and communication skills.
She holds qualifications in Economics, Law, and Town Planning.
As well as working as a consultant planner from 2000 to 2004, she has extensive experience at senior levels in the Tasmanian government, Hydro Tasmania, and at the City of Hobart. Sandra is currently Director of Infrastructure Strategy, Policy and Partnerships at Infrastructure Tasmania.
Her ability to logically synthesis issues to develop principled outcomes and decisions, has been recognised by being appointed to the Tasmanian Heritage Council, the Tasmanian Planning Commission, the Resource Management and Planning Appeals Tribunal, and the Tasmanian Administrative and Civil Appeals Tribunal. She has also been the planning expert on the Sullivans Cove Urban Design Panel.
Sandra has been actively involved in the Planning Institute over many years having been a member of the Divisional Committee on several occasions. Most recently, in 2022- 2024, she held the positions of Divisional Vice President and convenor of the Policy and Advocacy Committee.
