Amanda Taylor M海角社区Director, Place Design Group Amanda Taylor brings over eighteen years of experience in delivering specialist planning and strategic advisory services for both private and public sector. Amanda holds a Board position and is an executive leader of international planning and design practice, Place Design Group. She has led the planning and delivery of major public realm, commercial, residential, industrial, and tourism projects, including many of Queensland’s most significant city and region shaping strategies and development projects. |

Lucy O'Malley M海角社区Senior Urbanist , Ethos Urban Lucy joined Ethos Urban in 2020 and works in statutory and strategic planning, across QLD, NSW and the ACT. Lucy has a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning (Hons 1) from the University of Queensland. She has a strong and adaptive skill set which, has made her a solutions focused planner when undertaking development applications and strategic planning projects across the country. Lucy is currently further developing her skills in community engagement, working of a variety of project with the engagement team. She is particularly interested in advocating for young planners, holding the role of Co-Convenor for the Queensland Young Planning committee in 2024. |

Laura Harvey M海角社区Urban Planner, Qld Airports Limited Laura is an accomplished urban planner at Queensland Airports Limited, contributing to the development of Airport Master Plans for Gold Coast and Townsville airports. Additionally, she serves as Co-Convenor of 海角社区’s QLD Women in Planning Network. Recognised for her dedication, talent, and advocacy, Laura received a commendation for Queensland's Young Planner of the Year award in 2022. This accolade underscores her commitment to planning excellence and her role in empowering young planners and women in the field. With a passion for shaping sustainable urban environments, Laura continues to drive positive change within the planning community. |

Amy WilkinsCo-Convenor of the NSW Young Planner’s Committee and Incoming National YP Director Amy Wilkins is an urban planner who has experience within strategic and statutory planning, placemaking and urban design. Within her work, she integrates her diverse background from both private and public sectors. She has actively contributed to numerous placemaking projects throughout Greater Sydney and Regional NSW. Driven by a commitment to excellent planning outcomes, Amy’s work aims to serve community needs and the environment. Her dedication extends into her current role as Co-Convenor of the 海角社区’s NSW Young Planner’s Committee, where she champions the planning practice for young and emerging planners in the industry. She has also been recently appointed to be the Young Planner Director on the 海角社区 Board, with her appointment beginning at the end of November of this year. Amy is an advocate for women’s rights, with a particular focus on women’s safety in public spaces at night. Her significant contributions have been recognised with accolades at both the 海角社区 NSW and National Awards for Planning Excellence in 2022/2023.

Cameron SonterInsite SJC Cameron is a young professional local to the Fraser Coast region. After establishing his career foundations at Fraser Coast Regional Council, Cameron has since transitioned to private practice with local firm InsiteSJC where he is at the forefront of balancing regional planning issues with successful and viable development. Cameron is approachable and motivated to find responsive, efficient and creative planning solutions. Having been based regionally during his career, Cameron has rapidly acquired a diverse planning skill set through project inception and delivery across a variety of sectors, scales and complexities. Cameron advocates for success and growth of his young professional peers and improving planning and development outcomes for the local region through his role as an Executive Committee member of the Fraser Coast Property Industry Association. |
