FORWARD THINKING - Development Assessment
Planning aims to manage how cities, towns and regions grow, change and adapt to achieve good outcomes for all stakeholders. All developments come with competing interests, and it’s how we successfully manage and balance those interests that will determine the success of development outcomes.
This seminar brings two speakers together, from two different parts of the development world. The speakers will provide their perspective on the need to balance differing views and provide their take on how competing interests are and should be managed. They will also look to at why we need to think forward on alternative and innovative outcomes to ensure the continued growth and success of SEQ cities.
Hannah will speak from the perspective of the developer, whereas Meredith will discuss the consultant’s perspective. The speakers will discuss how we can use our professional knowledge and experience to the development assessment roles.
